The Spill is our catch-all section for random thoughts, quick opinions, and hot takes. It’s the kind of content that doesn’t need a full article, just a little space to exist. Nothing here is that serious, but everything is worth the spill.

  • Hot take: Oklahoma University is winning the College Football Playoffs. No notes.
  • Bold prediction: Texas Tech won’t make it past Oregon in the second round. We’ll revisit this later.
  • Petition pending: TCA should add a pie-baking (and pie-eating) contest to the Turkey in the Ground tradition. Not to replace the chili cook-off, just to enhance it.
  • Boogie alert: TCA is searching for the culprit leaving boogers on bathroom walls. Senior boys Caleb Hart, Patrick Gullat, Bo Merril, and Ezra Burk, aka “Boogie Busters,” are on the case, hunting the mysterious “Boogie Bandit.”
  • Farewell: This semester, we say goodbye to senior staff members Addison Spillers, Caleb Hart, and Tara Holt. With early release second semester and completed art credits, they’re off to their next chapter. We’re grateful for their leadership, creativity, and time on the Trinity Times staff and wish them the best.
